I fondly remember one Christmas when I received a big yellow toolbox full of paper, colored pencils, a stapler, and other art supplies. I made books, created characters, and wrote stories. I further developed my skills by drawing during my classes at school, much to the annoyance of some (but not all) of my teachers. I'm a nerd, as evidenced by my passion for dinosaurs, and I've been known to read science fiction and fantasy novels, talk at length about Jurassic Park, and play retro video games in Japanese. When I'm not drawing or geeking out, I can be found spending time with family, tweaking my Japanese curry recipe, or learning new things.
