THE LOST BESTIARY
Bestiaries were allegorical animal books that were written and illustrated during the Middle Ages. I was so captivated by the wonderfully outlandish depictions of familiar (to us) African and European animals that I started to wonder what an Australian animal might have looked like in a bestiary. It started with a kangaroo, then it snowballed from there.
